Very nice old building. Too much decoration that doesn't fit in here, such as Plastic flowers and plastic fir trees. Ready-made cakes and pies don't work at all! Better to make two flavors less, but then bake them FRESH and YOURSELF. Very good location. The shop should then always be full.

Very friendly service. It was full and a lot to do - the service was still super nice and humorous. The food was very tasty 👌 pre-soup, main course and dessert was about 16 € with our choice! Children are also welcome here - there is a separate children's menu and a small playground. We also noticed the very rich selection of cakes / tarts. Cute old house with lots of old things tastefully decorated. Large outdoor area / terrace. We felt good.

Beautiful building with a large garden to sit outside. Perfect location on the Neuchâtel jungle. The food, both hot dishes and the cakes and tarts are delicious. There is also good coffee. A star deduction for service only. I experienced everything from mouth to super friendly. What is really annoying is that you usually have to wait VERY long ... until you get the menu ... until you can order ... until you can ask for the invoice ... until you can pay. Only the food comes quickly. We were here several times and really had to wait a long time each time, whether there was a lot going on or little, whether one waitress was working or three. Last time we waited almost 30 minutes before we could ask for the bill. Outside you sometimes get seat cushions, sometimes not (even if other tables have them). It apparently depends on whether the waitress thinks about it or has enough time. Better organization is required. I cannot say whether it is due to the staff themselves or whether there are simply not enough people assigned to the shifts, but there is room for improvement. Otherwise we really like to come here.

Very unfriendly staff, it is operated partly without a face mask, table is only disinfected on request, coffee cup not cleaned properly, coffee was served with lipstick. The first time here, not a second time. We then went to the Rutteler Mühle: great service, friendly service, everything great - recommended

First of all the food was of good quality. However, the portions were too small (main course and side dish € 25.90) ​​and not adequate for the price. The service was okay. For us, it stays with a one-time meal.

Very cool, authentic place next to an ancient forest ("Urwald"). Prices are reasonable, the food is amazing, "home-feel". Although we generally eat plant-based food, as this is a very traditional restaurant, it's not really an option... so that is something to take into account. Otherwise if you want to have an insight into local culture, it's the perfect opportunity - even the bathroom signs are written in the local dialect! Top tip: try the Pea soup when it is in season, it is a filling meal in itself (contains bacon...) It's a favorite with the locals, and under 4eur which makes it an inexpensive treat.
